David Guizar is one of the newest additions to the Haven Neighborhood Services team and a proud resident of South-Central Los Angeles. Growing up in a low- to moderate-income family, David has developed a deep passion for community service and advocacy. Now in his second year with Public Allies-Los Angeles, he continues to expand his impact by empowering underserved communities. Alongside his commitment to service, David is pursuing a certificate in analog photography at Santa Monica College, blending his creative pursuits with his dedication to social justice.

As the new VITA Coordinator at Haven Neighborhood Services, David is excited to contribute his skills and energy toward helping families and individuals navigate financial challenges. He looks forward to working closely with the community and building meaningful connections with the wonderful people he serves.
