As a first-generation college graduate from UCR who grew up in Southern California, Josue has actively advocated for social justice throughout his career, showcasing his resilience and determination. With a diverse background that includes serving as a Field Deputy for CD 14 and managing projects as the California Program Manager at Activate America, he has honed his skills in project management, relationship-building, and strategic thinking. Josue's teaching philosophy centers around patience and engagement, attributes he seamlessly integrates into his work to achieve positive results.
Having worked on two presidential elections in 2012 and 2016, Josue brings valuable experience and a deep understanding of the political landscape. When time allows, he enjoys traveling both across the state and country, finding inspiration in new experiences. He values the companionship of friends, family, and his two dogs, further highlighting his appreciation for connection and meaningful relationships. With reliable transportation, a willingness to work weekends, and comfort in one-on-one and small group settings, Josue is poised to make a meaningful impact in any endeavor he undertakes.
