Kent is a Senior Business Analyst at SoCalGas, working in the Financial and Business Planning team, and President of SoCalGas’ API Employee Resource Group, Community of Asian Pacific Islanders in Energy (CAPE). Outside of work, Kent is actively involved in the non-profit community as he serves as Board Treasurer of OCA Asian Pacific Advocates Greater Los Angeles Chapter (OCA-GLA).

Since 2017, Kent has also volunteered and been a part of the Project by Project (PbP) Steering Committee, most recently serving as PbP-LA Chapter President from 2022-2023 and is currently the National Team and Leadership Development Director for the organization.

Kent graduated from UC Berkeley in 2016 with a bachelor's degree in Applied Mathematics and earned his MBA degree, with a concentration in Finance, from Pepperdine University in 2022. Kent is passionate about personal finance and hopes to bring financial empowerment to others. His hobbies include adventures such as running, hiking, and traveling.
