Join Haven Services for a free three-part English First-Time Homebuyer Workshop series designed to help you make informed decisions and prepare for successful homeownership.
Throughout the series, participants will receive trusted guidance on budgeting, credit, mortgages, down payment assistance programs, and the major steps involved in purchasing a home.
Participants are encouraged to attend all three sessions to receive the full educational experience.

What You Will Learn
During this three-part First-Time Homebuyer Workshop series, participants will learn about:
- Understanding the homebuying process
- Budgeting and improving your credit
- Mortgage options and loan basics
- Down payment assistance programs
- The role of escrow and closing
- Preparing for long-term homeownership
- Housing counseling and additional homebuyer resources
Those who attend will also have an opportunity to ask questions and learn from Haven Services’ HUD-approved housing counseling team.
Certificate of Completion
This series provides HUD-approved homebuyer education that may help participants satisfy the educational requirements for select down payment assistance programs.
To receive a HUD Certificate of Completion, participants must complete the full workshop series and attend a one-on-one housing counseling session with Haven Services.
Certificate and program eligibility requirements may vary depending on the lender or down payment assistance program.
